Nice little maiden voyage souvenir dish by wedgwood… wonderful guilt edges and details .. only lacking a profile of the ship =(… I would have expected Cunard to go all out for the maiden season .. Still a nice little high quality dish!
This is the early version of the QM pictorial booklet … and probably tyhe most lavish one ever done for the Hotel ship. This has the famous fold- out in service cutaway of the ship as well as the “hotel” version showing the rooms, California changes, museum spaces etc. In excellent condition.
Once the Vistafjord (and Sagafjord were sold to Cunard) … all of thier brochures and such were restyled and printed by Cunard. This is really a giant sized plan for the Vistafjord .. before she was renamed Caronia. She was a very beloved ship and made cunard A LOT of $$.
Nice on board photographer picture folder- holder from the QE2. The starboard side graphic is unusual. Excellent condition
Newer Cute little nostalgic book on famous folks that traveled onboard the Cunard liners. From Eddie Arcaro ( Kentucky Derby jockey) to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor there are about 75 folks covered with pictures of them aboard various ships pre 1967ish. Probably sold in the gift shops on today Cunarders.
Awesome little packet of 12 souvenir shots for the Anchor Line’s 3 funnel Caledonia. 2 are profile sviews the rest are all 1st and 2nd class interiors. Great little ships! Excellent condition .. a must have for any Anchor line collector.
Excellent and lovely little dish for the famous Flag ship . In excellent condition with a lovely starboard profile view. Very high quality china. The QE2 still sits in the harbor outside Dubai.
Interesting Official Publicity photo showing the QE2’s funnel and lifeboats. The photo is actually of a builders model .. the ship was still under construction. Cunard press info on the revers side. Excellent condition.
Lovely canvas bag from the famed QE2. this was probably bought on board to be used to stuff full of shore side souvenirs and other fun stuff! If you missed you chance to buy one … here you go! In excellent shape …
These heavy pin type dishes were all the rage for souvenirs aboard many cruise line vessels in the late 80’s to mid 90’s. This one is from an 11 day cruise for the Sagafjord. In perfect shape!
Wow.. A full picture history of the famous Cunard Line . Printed by Bill’s Dover buddies, the books is a lavish picture history of the famed carrier. you could not beat the collaborative effort on this project Frank and Bill’s magic shows throughout the work. The pictures are of course outstanding: many from the FOB collection at the time. A must have picture and quick fact reference for Cunard!
I had never seen this little book before …of the thousands out there… this one is a keeper. Explore the titanic with these 2 gentlemen via their use of Postcards to tell the narrative. Pretty Interesting and in good shape… a little blemish where the price tag was once affixed.
One of the many ephemera items done for the QM’s early career .. The story of the QM Pictorial. This is chock a block full of the early history, building and design stories of the mighty liner. This has drawings, comparisons, fact/figures as well as an engaging narrative. The covers have a few edges rumples and slight wear. A very good reference pieces fort the beloved liner.
WOW … wonderful agency model for the cruising “sister ships”. When built, Cunard and many other lines thought the smaller ships were the wave of the future…. we certainly have come full circle with today Big box monsters. The Henning Model and plexi-case is in really good shape. The model is complete and could use a little cleaning .. the churned up water around the bow looks to be clean and blue as the Caribbean. The case shows some scratches and some “crazing” but is intact and not cracked etc. Both ships had long lives ..we just lost the Countess to fire not long ago. Shipping will need to be manually quoted
A modern liner like no other .. the QM2 is touted as the successor to the lovely and then soon to be retired QE2. The first ship brochure is full of renderings on the QM2’s interiors and amenities… the 2 story dining room is awesome! The second brochures covers her many “maiden” voyages as well as first season of cruising etc. Direct from Cunard/Carnival.. you won’t find early info on the QM2 that is better than these! Seattle agency sticker .. Great condition!
Lovely leather and metal key chain Luggage tag showing the QE2 in profile with a grey hull. this color scheme only lasted a short time right after her Falkland Island service. Excellent condition .. and certainly not to common to find!
Great little instructional panel brochure giving instructions on how to mail items to the ship during her 10th anniversary cruise in 1980. The QE2 was just about to come into her own sort of Nostalgic era … and become a real breadwinner for Cunard
Lovely little watercolor reprint .. I can’t read the names .. it could be either lovely little ship. When built, Cunard thought the era of the BIG super ships was over.. and concentrated on these smaller type ships. The print is in outstanding shape the fame has some bumps and nicks etc.
I just love these souvenir portfolios.. they are packed with great color public room pictures and tidbits of facts and figures. This one does have some rusty staining to the cover … but the inside info is intact and awesome. The back pocket would have held menus and misc items from your voyage, but these have long since been removed. Good used condition! Last one I saw online sold for over $100!
Seven lovely metallic drink coasters form the 1983 WCS cruise aboard the QE2. There are 6 total individually showing a Possum, Kangaroo, Platypus, Emu, Koala and a Kookaburra bird. These have been framed long ago … and preserved very well …very unique!
Awesome issue of the Titanic Commutator Vol 24 Number 13 for November 2000. Probably the highlight of the issue is the documentation of the Olympic Restaurant on the Millennium. Great Photographs … certainly detailed and extraordinary! As always, this magazine is loaded with any info related to the Titanic and related ships… and there are other various stories covered in this fine issue.
Small yet graphically superb cruising program for White Star’s SS Homeric and MV Britannic. The Homeric did 3 cruises: Christmas, a West Indies Cruise and Easter Cruise, while the MV Britannic took a winter cruise around the Med Sea. The orange cover graphics scream deco and are topped by a handsome “White Star”. Excellent condition!
Informative thick and heavy rates brochure for the fleet … includes the entire Atlantic from Jan 1960 through December 1960. Heavy stock white covers in Great shape!
Excellent CC plan for the Maury 2. She was a little English darling. In great shape and made of heavier paper than the normal tissue. Love the furniture arrangements! There is an agency stamp form NYC. Great condition.
Three great items from the QM that all sport the famous port side Turner image of the ship blasting along through the waves of the North Atlantic. The lot contains a postcard, Voyage souvenir log from June 1958 and a Gala menu dated July 12th 1958. All 2 items have some yellow spots but the images are great! good condition!
