Unusual double centerfold one dedicated to the routes and one showing the Lurline in profile. New perfect condition.

Nice hard plastic souvenir for the lovely little Santa Maria . I sure liked these ships better when that had their smokestack added.
Made from hard plastic, note the tape is little loose and brittle, displays well!
Grace Line: Deluxe 12 day Cruise to South America 1952 Folder.
Really nice deck plan folder don’t for the Gibbs designed Santa Paula and San Rosa in the early 1950’s. The success of these routes and cruises allowed Grace to expand in the 50’s and replace these 2 prewar ships with the Gibbs designed sister of the same manes in the very late 50’s ( 2 of my favorite little liners).

The City of Norfolk and City of Richmond were the last survivors … but would be soon retired.

United States Line: SS Leviathan TC Breakfast and Luncheon Menu card August 11 1929.
The thrifty Chapman interests that owned the USL at this time combined breakfast and lunch menus for these meals in August 1929. These selections sound tastee… but certainly would not rival what was offered to those in First class. Though some warnings were being issued for stock market investors at this time … the great crash was still about 2 months away from the time this menu was printed. Interesting trident and USL houseflag detailing. Good condition with yellowing and some edge bumps.
