Lovely simple glass ashtray form a grace Line steamer. Grace is printed in Green on the bottom of the clear glass tray. Excellent shape!

Great little bar of Ivory soap from a Grace Line ship. great little item …stills smells fresh as the day it was made! There are a few rust stains to the paper wrapper
United States Line: SS Leviathan TC Breakfast and Luncheon Menu card August 11 1929.
The thrifty Chapman interests that owned the USL at this time combined breakfast and lunch menus for these meals in August 1929. These selections sound tastee… but certainly would not rival what was offered to those in First class. Though some warnings were being issued for stock market investors at this time … the great crash was still about 2 months away from the time this menu was printed. Interesting trident and USL houseflag detailing. Good condition with yellowing and some edge bumps.
Matson Line: South Seas Sailing and rates for the lovely Mariposa and Monterey 1965
Lovely foldout, issued in March 1965 this is in great shape. pretty ocean blue there are a few ship picture inside with all the rate info … also nice little description of the 2 sisters.
Matson Line: Lurline Sailings and Fares 1/1/1965
Excellent rates and sailings folder for the lovely Lurline. She was rebuilt after the war and upon leaving the Matson fleet she went to Chandris. Excellent condition Love the purple cover.
Grace Line: Double Deck of Santa Paula/Rosa Playing cards
Double set of playing cards the last Grace Line twins. Gibb’s designed, they were the last passenger ships built at Newport News. The cards are very lightly used and in great shape ..all there in a heavy plastic case.

A great late from a Grace Line ship… Gold trimmed and sporting the Grace Line Flag. This defintely shows signs of onboard use … but in over all good condition No chicps or cracks.
American Export: NS Savannah Postcards
The one and only commercial Neuclear powere ship .. the NS Savannah. Frank Braynard suggested the name for the ship to honor the first steam powed vessel to cross the ocean the SS Savannah of 1819 .. who was alos American. The “Atoms for Peace” ship was never really profitable… but she did demonstrate a Nuclear ship could be built, clean and functional, She can be toured today in Baltimore harbor when she is maintained. The cards did come from Frank’s VAST collection .. he had stacks! great condition and unused.
American Export Lines: NEW SS Atlantic Deckplan Restocked
Excellent deck plan for the inaugural year of service for the ss Atlantic .. which joined American Export after her one class services with American Banner Line flopped. She said on for many, many years as the university ship the SS Universe. The plan is in great shape . stock photo
United States Lines: SS Leviathan Lavish Brochure
Probably the best brochure for the great SS Leviathan … this one is chock full of interior photos … all showing the gleaming reconditioned interiors. Gibbs spared no expense in reconditioning the ship to be the best ocean liner in service. The ornate cover is embellished with golden highlights. Lovely profile of the ship … and interesting glowing and descriptive text. Interestingly, Gibbs for sure would have been involved in the brochure’s design … he was watchful over all details.
Grace- Delta Lines: Santa Mercedes Trophy
Excellent Brass and Marble trophy for the Santa Mercedes .. in pristine shape with original box. Built for Grace and sold to Delta when Grace gave up on passenger service. The ships were built without traditional funnels .. and their funnels were added later in life for pretty much aesthetic reasons. The green box has a hole in the top where the funnel has slightly punctured it.

American Export Lines: 4 Aces prewar Racy Clipper ship
The great American fleet to the Mediterranean … the 4 prewar aces of American export … for Yankee cruises deluxe to the Mediterranean. Lovely little ships .. these are super enormous fold out deck plans with large Photos of interiors . The isometric deckplans and drawing are just outstanding … and these are some of the largest folding plans ever done! There is some edge ware and separation at the seam folds … but in good condition for the age. A little cello tape repair too … racy Clipper ship on the cover!

These 4 little ladies were the work horses of the AE fleet … and carried passengers and freight. Lovely booklet type deckplan … I love the design! These little ladies went on to have long lives for various owners.

The Indy and Connie were our main liners to the Mediterranean. There exterior and Interior design were certainly wonderful. Impeccable little booklet type deckplan with a blue cover .. I really prefer there over the multi fold plans that were done at other times . Both liners had long life’s and finished their careers in the Hawaiian market. Excellent condition! Note this is a later plan … their original rounded superstructure has been remodeled and squared off.
